Requirements: 3 Years of a DVM Program
Duration: Depends on the individual Veterinary college requirements, usually 4-6 weeks
Clinical Experience Goals: Rotate through and hands-on training in outpatient/medicine, surgery, imaging and small animal rehabilitation. Hands-on training in Imaging includes Digital radiography, Digital Dental radiography Ultrasonography and CT-scans, running and interpreting labs, rotate through the rehabilitation facility, Perform examinations along with client communication. Participation in weekly case discussions with DVM staff required. and medical record maintenance for patients.
